Lucinda is the location of the Lucinda Bulk Sugar Terminal operated by Queensland Sugar Limited (QSL). The jetty for the sugar loading conveyor belt is 5.6 Kms long and dips 1.2 metres to follow the curvature of the earth. It takes 22 minutes for sugar to travel the length of the jetty to load onto the ships.
