De Soto Model CK 1930 built in USA with an Australian tourer body. The model was only produced from May to November 1930. This Spider Bridge over the Mary River was a typical wooden bridge over rural roads in Queensland during the period. (Description from KES & RGD)

Kenilworth town name was derived from a pastoral property name within Obi Obi pastoral run, taken up by Richard Joseph Smith in 1850. Reportedly, Smith's wife was reading the novel 'Kenilworth', written by Walter Scott at the time

Kenilworth is a small town, with a population of less than 300, in the upper Mary Valley behind the Blackall Ranges in the Maroochy shire on the Sunshine Coast. The town retains its 1920's atmosphere and is famous for their cheese.
