Halls Creek is a town on the Mount Amhurst Road in northeast Western Australia situated about 720km south-southwest of Darwin (show me) (the nearest capital city). Perth (show me), the capital of Western Australia, is about 1930km southwest of Halls Creek. Halls Creek has a population of around 1,300 and is one of the smaller towns in Australia. Halls Creek is about 416m above sea level. Halls Creek is one of the easternmost towns in Western Australia. The nearest sea is the Timor Sea which is part of the Indian Ocean about 330km north of Halls Creek.
